One of the exciting new family of amarines โ from a crossing of Amaryllis belladonna with a nerine โ to give autumn flowering chandeliers with the giant individual flowers from the amaryllis side, and no long wait as you have with nerines. For a sunny sheltered spot, these are an excellent addition for those who like flowers โ as I do โ late in the year. Arranged here on the 28th October with Nerine โOstaraโ, selinum, briza and panicum, for a party at Halloween.
Care Tips
Grow in containers or in a sunny, free-draining position outdoors and mulch in winter. Be patient if flowering is poor in the first year. Do not disturb once planted.
