I love English lavenders, and they’re great for pots, clipped neatly into balls. Their downside is the length of flowering which is UNPARALLELED in this French lavender variety, which flowers from tulips to almost the end of dahlia time. Hardy and perennial with us — it’s a champ!
Care Tips
Cut lavender stems for the vase when the lowest blossom opens. Trim back after flowering or the following spring to maintain a compact habit and help prevent the plant becoming too woody. Trim flowered stems and 2cm of foliage.
