Spun Sugar Collection

In my course Magnificent Pots, I show this as the perfect recipe for a large container. The Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’ is The Thriller, the spun sugar grass, Frosted Explosion The Filler and Salvia Amistad The Pillar and Spiller. It looks good from July till November. No more need be said!

This collection contains:

• 1 tuber each of Dahlia ‘Totally Tangerine’
• 3 young plants each of Salvia ‘Amistad’
• 5 seedlings each of Panicum capillare ‘Sparkling Fountain’

Care Tips

Protect young plants from frost and plant in a sunny, free-draining spot. Do not prune salvia back in winter, keep current year’s growth and remove when new shoots appear. Mulch annually. Mulch or lift dahlia.
