We associate verbascums with yellow, but they are now available in an increasing range of rich and stunning colours like this one, ‘Violetta’, which gives marvellous towering spires in bud, full flower and as seed heads.
Care Tips
To encourage repeat blooming , cut off the central flower spike after initial flowering so that multiple flower spikes to form. Mulch overwinter for protection on cool days.
